How to play 2048 Cupcakes
2048 Cupcakes is a sliding merge puzzle. The board has sixteen spaces. Every move slides all tiles in one direction. Matching tiles combine into the next flavor. The aim is to keep merging until you reach the 2048 Ultimate cupcake.
Controls
- On desktop, use the arrow keys or WASD.
- On mobile, swipe directly on the board.
- Use Undo to recover from one recent mistake.
- Use Frosting Shuffle once per run to reposition your existing tiles.
Game modes
Classic mode is the normal endless puzzle. Daily Challenge uses a UTC-based seed so every player gets the same starting board and spawn sequence for the day. Blitz Mode gives you 90 seconds to score as high as possible.
Scoring
When two identical tiles merge, the score increases by the value of the new tile. A 64 merge gives 64 points, a 512 merge gives 512 points, and reaching 2048 creates a major score jump.
